The Sig Sauer P220 Legion is an upgraded version of the original P220 handgun, which played a significant role in the modern era of SIG firearms. This particular model comes with several improvements and enhancements. It features a unique Legion gray coating on its exterior and is equipped with custom G-10 grips that showcase a Legion medallion.

The slide of the P220 Legion is constructed from stainless steel and incorporates SIG SAUER Electro-Optics X-RAY sights, which provide excellent visibility in both day and night conditions. Additionally, the slide is equipped with front cocking serrations, allowing for a better grip when manipulating the slide, and performing tasks such as clearing the firearm or conducting press checks.

In terms of ergonomics, the P220 Legion in DA/SA (Double Action/Single Action) configuration boasts a reduced and contoured Elite beavertail. This design modification enables the shooter to achieve a higher grip and reduces the likelihood of handgun printing (being visible through clothing). The front strap of the grip features more aggressive checkering, and there is additional checkering located under the trigger guard, enhancing overall grip traction. The trigger guard also incorporates an X-Five undercut, facilitating a higher grip and improved control.

To minimize the risk of snagging, the P220 Legion is equipped with low-profile decocking and slide-catch levers. These elements are designed to be less prone to catching on clothing or other objects during the draw or carry process.

The action of the P220 Legion has been enhanced with a polished finish and features the SRT (Short-Reset Trigger), allowing for faster follow-up shots. Furthermore, the handgun comes equipped with a P-SAIT trigger, which has been designed by Grayguns, Inc. for improved performance. The inclusion of a solid steel guide rod adds weight to the firearm in crucial areas, enhancing stability and recoil management.

To round out the package, the P220 Legion comes with three 8-round magazines, providing ample ammunition capacity.
