Shadow Systems MR920 Elite Optic Cut Semi-Automatic Pistol

The Shadow Systems MR920 Elite is a compact pistol that offers a range of features while maintaining compatibility with existing G19 holsters, magazines, and gear. Its frame is designed with configurable ergonomics, allowing shooters to adjust the grip angle by using interchangeable backstraps to match their natural point of aim. The extended beavertail and aggressive trigger guard undercut work together to reduce recoil and enhance controllability. Additionally, the frame’s wrap-around grip texture provides a secure hold without sacrificing comfort during daily use.

The MR920 Elite boasts directional serrations on the front, rear, and topside of the slide. The Elite models also include a weight-optimizing window cut on the slide. One notable feature is the patent-pending multi-footprint optic cut found on these Shadow System pistols. This cut allows for direct mounting of the most popular red dot optics onto the slide, eliminating the need for additional plates or adapters. The optic is positioned low in the slide and secured with the market’s longest and strongest screws. Tested optic brands compatible with this cut include Trijicon, Vortex, Leupold, Holosun, SIG, Swampfox, TruGlo, and Shield. The optic can be mounted low enough to achieve a lower 1/3 co-witness with the factory sights. Speaking of sights, the factory sights on Shadow Systems pistols feature a bright green tritium night sight front paired with a blacked-out rear sight, allowing for quicker sight acquisition in high-stress situations.
